The use and maintenance of solar panel array directly affects the service life of solar panel, the operation cost and efficiency of solar power generation system. Doing a good job in the maintenance of solar panel array is the best means to maintain the good operation of the system.
Generally, there is no need to clean the surface of the solar panel array, but the exposed wiring contacts shall be regularly inspected and maintained.
1.In case of strong wind, rainstorm, hail, heavy snow, etc., measures shall be taken to protect the solar panel array from damage.
2.The daylighting surface of the solar panel array shall be kept clean. In case of dust or other dirt, it shall be washed with clean water first, and then gently wiped dry with clean gauze. Do not wash or wipe with hard objects or corrosive solvents.
3.Regularly check the wiring of solar panel array electrical system to avoid loose wiring.
4.Regularly check the grounding resistance of solar panel array.
When the solar panel array is installed in an environment where dust often flies in the air, the solar panel array should be observed regularly. When it is observed that the dust on the surface area of the solar panel array reaches gray and the original blue crystalline surface of the solar panel array cannot be seen, the solar panel array should be cleaned and dedusted in time, in order to prevent the solar panel array from absorbing insufficient light, resulting in insufficient battery charging, which will affect the service life of the battery.
During dust removal, a safe herringbone ladder shall be used for dust removal. Do not climb the solar panel array mounting bracket directly. Use a clean cotton dry mop to remove the dust first, and then use a wet clean cotton mop to clean it.
Maintenance difficulties of solar panel array
Because the quality of solar panel array can not be controlled and tested, the life cycle can not be guaranteed. The service life of qualified solar panel is 25 ~ 30 years.
The solar panel array is composed of multiple solar panels. In the process of use, if a single solar panel is blocked, such as bird droppings, leaves, etc., the separately blocked solar panel will be heated and damaged under the irradiation of strong sunlight, resulting in the damage of the whole solar panel array, which is the so-called heat island effect.
Even if the solar panel array is placed obliquely and equipped with bird proof needles, it can not completely prevent the attachment of leaves, bird droppings or other obstructions, which requires the staff to clean the solar panel frequently.
In addition, the fastening degree of all installed parts shall be checked regularly. In case of hail, strong wind, rainstorm and other abnormal weather, protective measures shall be taken in time.
