Installation method on the roof
Step 1: Paste
1. Use high-temperature resistant and strong adhesive 3M double-sided foam adhesive to stick to the back of the solar panel, and then stick it to the position where the roof needs to be installed.
2. Paste with special sealing silica gel for solar energy (high temperature resistance, aging resistance, and firm adhesion)
Step 2: Wiring
To install solar panels on the roof, the wires should be introduced into the car, which can be inserted from the gap on the adhesive edge of the car. (You can enter the car from any closed position on the roof, such as the door, sunroof, travel compartment, and engine compartment)
Step 3: Connect the battery
1. It can be directly connected to the battery in the engine compartment at the front of the vehicle.
2. Connect to the cigarette lighter in the car. Note: Some cars have a key switch that locks the cigarette lighter and turns it on, and if the car key is removed, it cannot be charged from the cigarette lighter to the battery.
3. Connect the light bulb wire or other wires connected to the battery in the car.
Installation method inside the vehicle
Step 1: Use a long strip of board to stick under the front or rear windshield (without affecting visibility)
Step 2: Place the board directly on the dashboard of the rear windshield
Note: The car is equipped with a layered windshield, which is not as effective as being directly installed on the roof. The wiring method inside the car is the same as the third step.
Usage for controller users: The positive and negative poles of the solar panel are connected to the photovoltaic positive and negative ports of the controller, and then connected from the output battery port of the controller to the positive and negative poles of the battery. (For controller installation, connect the battery first and then the solar panel)
