At present, solar street lights have been promoted and popularized in our lives. Solar street lights can be seen everywhere, in parks, roads, factories, communities, scenic spots, and even in most rural areas.
Solar street lights operate in a fully automatic and integrated mode, without the need for manual control. The power source is provided by solar panels. During the day, solar panels absorb solar radiation from the surface, converting light energy into electrical energy and storing it in batteries, which has high requirements for temperature and weather.
Therefore, at low temperatures, work efficiency will also decrease. There are three main methods to increase the power generation of solar panels at low temperatures.
1. Keep the surface of the solar panel clean
If there is snow covering the surface of the solar panel, it is necessary to clean the snow in a timely manner, because when the snow covers the solar panel, it cannot absorb solar radiation smoothly, and without the support of light energy, the solar panel cannot work. After the snow falls, the power generation of solar panels at low temperatures can be guaranteed to a certain extent.
2. Install at a large angle
Installing solar panels at a large angle can effectively avoid the rapid accumulation of snow, reduce the speed and thickness of snow accumulation, and avoid the need for frequent manual cleaning.
Of course, the so-called large angle installation is only a behavior of moderately increasing the installation angle of the solar panel without affecting its ability to receive sunlight.
3. Pay attention to the installation distance
When installing solar panels, it is important to keep them as far away from buildings with eaves or obstructions as possible, to prevent snow from falling from the top of surrounding buildings onto the solar panels, and to gradually accumulate from the bottom of the solar panels, blocking most of the surface and affecting their ability to receive light.
