Now we can see solar street lamps everywhere in the streets. Among them, solar panels (also known as solar cell modules) are the core components and the most important part of solar power generation system.
Let’s learn how to distinguish the quality of solar panels.
1. Look at the front
First, carefully check the surface of tempered glass, which is also the negligence of some solar panel manufacturers. If silica gel is accidentally dropped on the surface of tempered glass, it shall be removed in time. If it is not removed, it will affect the power generation efficiency of solar panels.
2. Look at the solar cells
Some damaged solar cells are assembled to form seemingly complete solar cells. In fact, there is a great risk. There may be no problem in the initial stage, but the spliced solar cells are easy to break under long-term use, thus affecting the use of the whole solar panel, Ignition will also occur when the temperature is too high.
3. Look at the back
The back of the solar panel should be marked with technical parameters, such as open-circuit voltage, short circuit current, working voltage, etc. Secondly, it depends on the lamination effect of the back of the solar panel. If there are bubbles, folds and other traces after lamination, this solar panel is listed as unqualified.
4. Look at the junction box
Junction box is a connector of solar panel. Whether the junction box is firm is also related to the working efficiency of solar panels. The cover of the junction box shall be firmly and tightly attached to the junction box, and the lock head of outgoing wires shall rotate freely and tighten.
