Composition of Photovoltaic System
1.Components of a Photovoltaic System
The photovoltaic system consists of the following important components:
Photovoltaic module: It is a thin film board made of photovoltaic cells and placed between the encapsulation layers
Inverter: Convert the DC power generated by photovoltaic modules into grid connected AC power
Battery: a device that stores direct current (DC) in a chemical manner
Photovoltaic bracket: providing support and positioning for photovoltaic modules
2.Types of Photovoltaic Systems
Photovoltaic systems can generally be divided into two types:
Grid connected system: The advantage of this type of system is that it does not require battery storage and is directly connected to the national power grid, without worrying about power outages;
Off grid system: Off grid systems require batteries to store energy, which can result in relatively higher costs.
3.Photovoltaic system wiring
1.Series parallel connection method of photovoltaic system
Photovoltaic modules can be connected in parallel, series, or a combination of series and parallel connections according to requirements.
For example, designing a 24V off grid system using four 12V PV modules,
Design a grid connected system consisting of two series connected parts using 16 34V PV modules.
2.Connection components for inverter models
The number of components that can be paired with various types of inverters is fixed, and the connection quantity of each component can be allocated according to the number of branches of the inverter.
3.Inverter connection methods
DC circuit breakers and AC circuit breakers need to be installed separately at the DC input and AC output terminals of the inverter. If multiple sets of inverters need to be connected simultaneously, the DC terminals of each set of inverters should be connected to the module separately, and the AC terminals can be connected in parallel to the power grid. The cable diameter should be correspondingly thickened.
4.Communication end grid connection
The general household grid connection part is connected to the grid by the power supply company, and the installation unit only needs to reserve the AC terminal in the meter box and install a circuit breaker. If the owner does not need to connect to the grid or has not yet approved the connection.
The installation unit needs to connect the AC terminal to the lower end of the power inlet switch. If the user is connected to three-phase power, a three-phase inverter is required.
Bracket section
1.Cement flat roof
The bracket of a cement flat roof can be divided into two parts: the base part of the bracket and the bracket part. The base of the bracket is poured from concrete with a grade of C30.
2.Color steel tile roof
The installation of color steel tile roofs is relatively simple, and different fasteners are equipped according to the different angles of the lighting tiles.
Fixed fasteners should be balanced horizontally and vertically, with a density of 4 per square meter.
Steps for installing fastener brackets and photovoltaic panels:
1. According to the specified position on the drawing, clamp the front and back of the steel plate clamp onto the color steel plate and fix it with screws (try to fix all the steel plate clamps at once, if not possible, fix two rows at once for easy installation of photovoltaic modules).
2. Use T-shaped screws to pass through the crossbeam and fix it on the steel plate clamp. Adjust the position and tighten it with nuts (same as 1, try to fix all crossbeams at once, if not possible, fix two rows at once for easy installation of photovoltaic modules).
3. After the first photovoltaic module is placed, use a single-sided pressure block to fix it.
4. Single and double-sided pressure block fixing method: Slide the T-screws into the crossbeam (preferably slide all T-screws in advance for easy installation), and use single and double-sided pressure blocks to tightly adhere to the photovoltaic module. And fix it tightly with screws.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 until the installation is complete.
