1. BIPV: Building Integrated Photovoltaic Panel

2. Solar thermal panel

I am also glad to know that some solar thermal or photovoltaic panels can even be used for heating and air conditioning.
3. Hybrid solar cells and photovoltaic panels
Organic materials (a semiconductor material with properties intermediate between insulators and conductors and used for conductivity) are sandwiched with inorganic high electron conducting materials to form a photovoltaic (PV) layer.
Its efficiency is greater than that of a single material layer, and it has the advantages of both organic and inorganic semiconductors. Hybrid photovoltaic cells use the R2R process (roll to roll or Real to Real process: manufacturing electronic components and equipment on flexible plastic rolls or metal sheets and foils) and develop solar energy conversion with low costs.
Hybrid solar panels are more expensive than polycrystalline or single crystal photovoltaic panels. If your roof space is large, it is not recommended to use a hybrid solar panel system, otherwise you will waste money generating the same amount of electricity as using crystal solar panels.
